Day by Day Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrival In Kigali

The driver will pick you up from the lodge after morning breakfast, enjoy a brief city tour to visit some of the iconic sites in Kenya like the Genocide memorial, the local market, the Museum among others. You will have lunch in Kigali city and after, drive and cross the Katuna boarder to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arriving the park in the evening, check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking And Departure To Kigali

Wake up early for morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations, after you will be divided in groups of 8 members each accompanied by an expert ranger to begin the gorilla search in the forest. During the trek, you will also encounter other primate species in the forest like several monkey species, baboons and forest birds among others. After you found the Gorillas, you will be allowed one hour with them in their natural habitat. You will watch them play, feed, groom young ones, making nests among other activities. Thereafter, you will Return to the park headquarters where you will be awarded with the certificate of participation. You then start your journey back to Kigali arriving in the evening, the driver will drop you off at the airport for departure flight or at your preferred location.

The trip will start from Kigali International Airport to Bwindi Forest National Park and you will be dropped off at Kigali International Airport.
